About

Fannie’s House Call Pet Grooming offers a clean, convenient, and comfortable service to the pets of Sarasota. We place equal value on the way your pets look as we do on the way they feel.

Our unique service offers a luxury experience like no other. Pets are groomed in their own home environment without the typical stressors of a grooming salon or mobile van, eliminating many of the concerns pet owners often have when taking their fur babies to be groomed.

Our groomer and founder, Fannie Bushin, is a graduate of the Merryfield School of Pet Grooming, a certified pet grooming school that offers 600+ hours of hands-on training and pet handling education. Fannie is also a graduate of Parsons the New School for Design and holds a BBA in Strategic Design and Management. She believes that grooming is “sculpting with fur” and the profession allows her the perfect mix of creativity and business.

Fannie is a registered member of the National Dog Grooming Association of America (NDGAA). Fannie is also certified in Pet First Aid and Pet CPR. She continues to attend in-person and online seminars and conferences to continue her education and learn about the latest grooming techniques and products.

Fannie has owned poodles all her life, and is currently the proud owner of Miles, a 6-year-old phantom Toy Poodle. She volunteers as a groomer with Florida Poodle Rescue. She also shares her life with two cockatiels, Eydie and Lydia. A huge animal wellfare advocate, Fannie also volunteers with the Parrot Outreach Society. She enjoys taking walks with her poodle on the island of Longboat Key in which her family resides. If you see her walking, please say hi.
